The two-day congress entiteled "Towards Sustainable Food Systems" takes place from November 13 – 14, 2024 at the banquet hall of the Vetmeduni Vienna and covers the entire spectrum from agriculture to food production.

The Food Innovation Forum 2024

  • provides an up-to-date, concise and practical overview of the latest findings from science and research

  • presents new approaches to pressing ethical issues from food waste to meat consumption

  • presents new solutions and strategies in the area of food hygiene and safety (ways to reduce the use of antibiotics and pesticides)

  • outlines the possibilities and opportunities that digitalisation brings for the industry

  • shed light on the still largely unknown consequences of climate change, from the spread of diseases and the emergence of new microorganisms to the spread of invasive plants

  • shows a mapping of pathogenic and spoilage-relevant microorganisms (avoidance of faulty production)
